Principal Sophie Cleland has left ARM.
Sophie has been with us for almost 20 years, growing from a student to one of our most accomplished project leaders. She has been a vital voice in ARM’s evolution from a young 12-person office to the 30-year old institution we are now.
She has played major roles in delivering the Barak Building, Wanangkura Stadium and One East Melbourne and, most recently, our ongoing work at the National Museum of Australia and Adelaide Festival Plaza Precinct.
She has been an inspiring and consultative team leader, and a mentor to dozens of up-and-coming architects.
We will miss Sophie and we wish her well as she continues contributing to architecture at the highest level.
