Munarra shortlisted for ArchitectureAU Award for Social Impact

We’re thrilled to share that the Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence has been shortlisted in the 2025 ArchitectureAU Award for Social Impact.

Now in its third year, the award celebrates projects that exemplify “good design, doing good” – highlighting architecture’s potential to deliver meaningful and lasting public value. Munarra, designed by ARM Architecture in deep collaboration with the Yorta Yorta community, is a powerful example of Indigenous-led design, self-determination and cultural storytelling.

Jury chair Katelin Butler praised this year’s 26 shortlisted projects for expanding the definition of social impact, showcasing the diverse ways architecture can generate positive change.

Awarded and commended projects will be revealed on 3 July.
