Two projects shortlisted for 2024 Victorian Architecture Awards
ARM has two projects shortlisted in the 2024 Victorian Architecture Awards: Geelong Arts Centre and North Melbourne Primary School.
Geelong Arts Centre Stage 3 has been shortlisted in three award categories: Public Architecture, Interior Architecture and the Regional Prize.
North Melbourne Primary School Molesworth Street Campus has been shortlisted in the Education category.
This year, Victoria received the largest number of entries of all states and territories with 228 submissions across 15 categories.
“This year’s Victorian shortlist — the largest in the country — showcases the extraordinary breadth and quality of work our members are doing to improve the built environment for communities across our state,” said Victorian AIA chapter president David Wagner and 2024 chair of juries.
“Following a highly successful presentation day, our juries are excited to visit shortlisted projects to experience the innovation and design excellence of our profession in person.”
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Friday 7 June at the Astor Theatre.
