ARM HITS THE STREETS OF MELBOURNE – OPENHOUSE TOUR

In February, we had the pleasure of joining with OpenHouse to tour of some of our most influential projects along Melbourne’s St Kilda Road and Swanston Street corridor from the Shrine of Remembrance north to the William Barak building.

Ian McDougall and Jesse Judd conducted the tour, joined by Dr Conrad Hamann, Associate Professor of Architectural History and History of Urban Design at RMIT and ARM’s Andrea Wilson. The tour took an in-depth look inside the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne Recital Centre and Hamer Hall. We completed the walk viewing some of our other iconic projects the Melbourne Theatre Company, William Barack Building, RMIT’s Storey Hall, the Green Brain and OurPlace@QV.

It was a great opportunity to experience some of the recent and historic buildings and learn the stories of this iconic city axis.

We thank OpenHouse, the City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government for the opportunity to host this event.
