Build-to-rent at Caulfield Village

We’re really excited that the second stage of our Caulfield Village mixed-use development will be a build-to-rent community. 

Starting in 2013, we masterplanned the entire development and designed all the buildings, which will ultimately include 827 homes plus retail and quality public spaces.

This week, real estate investor Blackstone and Melbourne developer Beck Property Group have announced that, subject to development planning approval, the second stage (called Precinct 2 North) will include over 400 build-to-rent apartments.

Caulfield Village is 9km from the CBD, has a major railway station and tram service, and is close to Monash University. All these things make it popular with renters.

ARM has done build-to-rent before. Our Smith Collective (which started life as the 2018 Commonwealth Games athletes’ village) is now Australia’s first build-to-rent community.

Incidentally, the first Caulfield Village stage (pictured above) will be complete this month.
