Remembering Ryan

We are shocked and heartbroken at the sudden loss of our dear friend and colleague, Ryan Robertson.

Ryan was early in his career and, along with architecture, he had begun study other fields including economics and urban planning, thinking about how he might combine these interests.

He had formidable technical skills and a heartfelt commitment to projects for people—ones that would make a strong and beneficial contribution to our society.

Ryan was also a passionate environmentalist, footy umpire, sports enthusiast, and mad keen cyclist (like half of ARM).

Thanks to his technical ingenuity and spur-of-the-moment attitude, he was the only person we’ve ever known to go around with a banana strapped to his bike.

He passed away on Saturday 14 November after a short illness.

Donations to the Nature Glenelg Trust can be made in Ryan’s memory. Mention “Ryan’s legacy” to ensure your donation goes towards a project that will specifically honour him.
