ARM at the 2024 Learning Environments Australasia conference

We were thrilled to participate in the 22nd Annual Learning Environments Australasia Conference, Amplify, in Melbourne. This year’s theme was AMPLIFY ‘inclusion.learning.place’.
The focus of the theme was to spotlight voices that seldom take centre stage but still contribute significantly to quality education and design. AMPLIFY delved into the role and reality of inclusion and access in learning environments, examining what students need for the greatest benefit in their learning experience, and exploring how to create spaces and places that welcome everyone, providing a sense of belonging and support to each student.
ARM designers Jesse Judd, Ray Marshall, Jeremy Stewart, and Amber Stewart led tours of three key projects: North Melbourne Primary School, Thornhill Park Primary School, and St Leonard’s College, while Senior Architect Hannah Kuek presented an on-site workshop at the conference venue in Melbourne Park. Thank you to all who joined the workshop and project tours.
AMPLIFY was held in Melbourne at ‘Centrepiece’ from May 15 to May 17, 2024.
